On behalf of everyone here at the Liberal Democrats, I’d like to give our heartfelt condolences.

I only had the pleasure of working closely with her fairly recently, since she joined our Federal Board. But I know from colleagues who have worked with her for decades just how much respect and affection she generated from across the political spectrum and from the communities she did so much to help.

I hope our thoughts and support can help a little in this difficult time and that the many expressions of admiration and affection for Anita bring you some solace.
